Real estate law firm Newmanor Law adds partner

Niche real estate law firm Newmanor Law has started the new year with the appointment of a new partner, Alex Pelopidas (pictured below), a finance specialist who brings to the firm, more than a decade of experience in real estate finance transactions.

Newmanor bucked the trend of redundancies across the legal industry in 2021, with Pelopidas the latest in a long line of appointments over the last 18 months, as interest in the firm’s fixed-fee offering continues to grow amongst savvy property developers and investors across the UK.

James Dakin, co-founding partner of Newmanor Law, said: “It is gratifying that the unique Newmanor Law offering is not only finding favour with commercial property developers and landlords, but also talented individuals such as Alex, who understand the strength of our service.

“Newmanor Law was founded with agility at the heart of our business model. We continue to introduce new more efficient ways of working and new approaches to transactions that better reflect the needs of our clients and Alex is a perfect fit for our innovative real estate finance work.

“He has built enviable experience across a broad practice, involving loan origination, restructuring and enforcement, as well as loan book transfers and work relating to loan servicing, acting for lenders and borrowers, developers, loan servicers, insolvency practitioners and receivers.

“As a new partner, we expect Alex will bring fresh thinking to ensure we maintain the exceptional client service for which Newmanor Law is renowned. And as the sector returns to some semblance of normality, our focus is attracting new clients frustrated by the traditional less-involved approach of full-service firms.”

“Specialist real estate law firms, such as Newmanor Law, combine unrivalled experience and expertise, with a focus on client service that breeds trust, instils confidence and grows the strong relationships that keeps clients coming back for more.

“I get a real satisfaction from building strong relationships with my clients, working hard to help them not only complete the transactions at hand efficiently and effectively, but to achieve their overall business aims.”
