Skipton Building Society is continuing to expand and strengthen its Business Development Team with the appointment of a new telephone BDM.
Emma Wilkinson (pictured) has joined the team and will be working with firms in the South West. She has joined from Skipton’s direct mortgage team as part of the Society’s growth programme.

In addition, Skipton has also promoted Amanda Mandziuk to a new role of criteria systems specialist to maintain and update the Society’s criteria across both internal systems and in collaboration with its external partners.

Wilkinson said: “I am really excited to join the BDM team and can’t wait to start building relationships and supporting brokers.”
Paul Fenn, Skipton’s head of business development, said Wilkinson’s appointment was just one example of how Skipton is determined to give brokers the support they require.
He said: “At Skipton we’re in growth mode right now. We’re increasing our BDM team and continuing with our aspiration to become a top 10 lender. We’ve also created a new role designed to make sure criteria and policy change is up to date, accurate and more dynamic as we exit the world of Covid.
“We’ve invested a lot in tech over last two or three years, too. AVM, auto ID and electronic income verification to name but a few. And we’ll continue to invest and improve in our technology, so it helps to streamline what we need from the adviser and complements our BDM relationships.”
