The Exeter appoints new strategy and change director

Protection and health insurer, The Exeter, has appointed Gordon Greig as its new strategy and change director. Greig joins The Exeter from his previous position as protection proposition director at Royal London.

Greig will be joining The Exeter’s Executive Board and will oversee its proposition and change teams. In his role, he will be responsible for driving strategic planning, propositional design, projects, and change delivery, working in close collaboration with teams across the wider business.

He joins The Exeter with more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry across life assurance and investment. Prior to his role at Royal London, where he was responsible for introducing organisational agility to the company’s intermediary division before taking on leadership of their Protection Business, Greig held a variety of roles at the Prudential and Aegon.

Isobel Langton, CEO of The Exeter, said:  “The Exeter has grown hugely as a business over the last decade to become a well-respected provider of income protection, life cover and health insurance. Looking forward, we aim to build on our recent successes, and I am delighted to welcome Gordon to The Exeter. Gordon’s experience and technical skill, as well as his commitment to always doing the right thing for the customer, will undoubtedly make him a valuable addition to our business.”

Greig added: “I am excited to be joining The Exeter to help drive the business’s growth plans. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our teams and creating an environment in which they thrive, whilst ensuring that the customer remains front and centre in everything we do.”
