Accord makes double appointment to senior team

Accord Mortgages has taken on two new additions to its senior team, as Gurpreet Chahal and Andrew Calder are promoted to corporate account managers.

Both positions are internal moves. Chahal has worked for the organisation for ten years, his most recent position as a retail area manager, where he was responsible for growing the business in branches across the midlands, whilst also working on the Accord Broker Programme.

Calder moves from his role as a business development manager, which he’s held for the last five years, previously working in various roles across the branch network.

Their new roles will focus on managing relationships with key lending partners and driving the delivery of new propositions.

Calder said: “I’m looking forward to building on existing relationships, creating new ones and making a real difference in this new position. I’m thrilled to be able to take things to the next level.”

Andrew commented: “I’m so pleased to step up into this new role. I can’t wait to build on the experience I’ve gained in business development to move things forward.”

Jeremy Duncombe, managing director of Accord Mortgages, said: “This is a great example of the quality of the talent we have within the business and our desire to support colleagues in their development and encourage internal promotion. I’m delighted to welcome Gurpreet and Andrew to my management team”.

Chahal and Calder will be working closely with other senior team members including fellow corporate account manager Iain Cunningham, and Nicola Alvarez, senior manager for propositions.
