Bluestone makes double sales appointment

Bluestone Mortgages has expanded its sales team in Sheffield, with the appointments of Nik Sukara as senior business development manager and Laurel Johnson as business development manager.

This move is part of the specialist lender’s strategy to increase sales volumes and better support brokers and end-customers across the country.

Following a year at Bluestone, Sukara has been promoted to senior business development manager. In his new role, he will be relocating to Sheffield, where he will be responsible for developing key account relationships, as well as assisting with the development of the Sheffield BDM team.

Johnson, who previously worked in the broker support team, has been promoted to business development manager. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing broker relationships in Scotland and the North East and brings with her over 12 years of telephony sales account management experience.

Reece Beddall, sales & marketing director, Bluestone Mortgages, said: “These appointments and the expansion of our sales team are testament to our ongoing commitment to better support brokers and their customers achieve their homeownership dreams.

“Over the last year, Nik and Laurel have been crucial to the success and growth of Bluestone. Both bring with them a wealth of experience which will allow us to continue to expand our proposition and provide financial support to a growing number of disenfranchised customers.”
