SimplyBiz Mortgages doubles Specialist Property Finance Club lender panel

SimplyBiz Mortgages has doubled the size of its ‘Specialist Property Finance Club’ lender panel over the past 12 months to now feature 20 lenders.

The mortgage club, which is the third largest in the UK,  partnered with the Financial Intermediary and Broker Association (FIBA),  also part of SimplyBiz, in March 2021 to launch this industry initiative.

The ‘Specialist Property Finance Club’ offers advisers and brokers access to a full range of commercial lending products, including bridging loans, development finance, commercial mortgages and specialist buy to let, from a selected range of FIBA partners.

The partnership enhances opportunities and benefits for both SimplyBiz Mortgages members and FIBA partners through exclusive arrangements and enhanced procuration fees, and exclusive access to an increased range of specialist lenders and their products.

Martin Reynolds, CEO of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “We have been delighted with how well the Specialist Property Finance Club has been received by our  members since its launch last year, with an increasing number of advisers looking at these markets as they extend their proposition to their clients.

“Transition and educational opportunities are also now available to all our members through our BTL+ hub and the expansion of the Specialist Property Finance Club.

“The work that the FIBA and SimplyBiz Mortgages teams have carried out means that more firms are now seeing the benefits of bridging, development finance and commercial mortgages. We look forward to working closely with the new lenders in coming months.”

Josh Levy, managing director, Ultimate Finance, added: “Ultimate Finance are delighted to join the Specialist Property Finance Club, providing all FIBA and SimplyBiz Mortgage members with access to our range of asset-based lending, including bridging finance solutions.

“With over 20 years funding experience, our mission aligns very well with the ambitions of the club; to support property developers and investors with access to necessary cashflow to meet their needs.”

Angela Norman, head of corporate development, Recognise Bank, concluded: “The Specialist Property Finance Club is a great initiative, and Recognise Bank is delighted to be working with FIBA and SimplyBiz Mortgages to help even more borrowers with their specialist finance needs.”
