Hodge temporarily closes to new business

Hodge will be temporarily closing to new business across all mortgage products from 5pm on Thursday 16th June.

In a statement on its intermediary website the specialist lender said: “

Our business volumes remain at record numbers, and as a lender that prides itself on offering a personal service, continuing to operate under these conditions means we’re unable to fulfil service levels.

“It’s important to us that we meet both yours and your customers’ expectations, and making sure our service levels are back within reasonable timeframes is our priority at this time.

“Whilst we work on a refreshed mortgage product range we remain committed to prioritising existing cases to ensure we are operating responsibly, and meeting the standards of service you have come to expect from us.”

DIPs must be submitted by 5pm on Thursday 16th June so that Hodge can process and provide time to progress to full application.

Full applications must then be submitted before 5pm on Monday 20th to secure the rate.

Hodge added: “We appreciate the challenge you face with a number of lenders withdrawing and increasing their interest rates at this time, and we are committed to communicating updates with you regularly on when we will be re-opening for new business.”
