Ortus Secured Finance makes several key promotions

Residential and commercial bridging lender Ortus Secured Finance has made several key employee promotions in its London and Belfast offices.  

The principal lender, set up in 2013 with offices throughout the UK in London, Belfast, Manchester and Glasgow, said it has made a number of promotions as it continues to experience strong growth. 

In London, Jamie Russell has been promoted to commercial director with overall responsibility for the performance of the sales team, including product development, training, recruitment, and strategy.  

David Foster has been promoted to head of credit with overall responsibility for credit strategy and recoveries. He will also continue to run certain key loan transactions for his key introducers.

While Joshua Field has been promoted to associate director – lending – in a deal structuring capacity. He will also have a lead role in further developing the firm’s underwriting and technology functions.

Meanwhile, in Belfast Stephen Davison has been promoted to head of lending with overall responsibility for the firm’s lending operations – leading the team on a day-to-day basis, improving systems and managing/building relationships with the firm’s professional advisors.

Finally, Daniel Eastwood has been promoted to senior manager – lending – and will be working on increasingly complex loan transactions across the UK.

Ortus lends from £100,000 to £25m, for terms of up to three years, secured over a wide range of residential and commercial property.
