The whole of market advice arm of Key – the Equity Release Experts (TERE) – has appointed Damon O’Connell as head of advice delivery.
With almost 20-years’ worth of experience within financial services and five of those years in management positions in the equity release sector, O’Connell brings a wealth of specialist market expertise and management skills. Most recently, he was regional advice delivery manager at The Equity Release Experts.
In this newly created position, O’Connell will manage the more than 80 self-employed advisers at The Equity Release Experts, ensuring they have the support, tools and systems to provide top quality whole of market advice to customers and to develop productive relationships with introducer partners.
O’Connell said: “With the later life lending market growing faster than ever, I am delighted to be stepping up into this newly created position at The Equity Release Experts.
“This feels like a natural progression for me as it will allow me to use my experience to better support our entire self-employed network.
“I look forward to working closely with the team to achieve our long-term goals as well as continuing to provide excellent levels of customer service.”
