Earl Shilton Building Society has expanded its team with the appointment of Shane Dye and Scott Cuffflin.
Dye joins as a business development manager while Cuffin takes up the role of senior mortgage underwriter. to its team at the Leicestershire head office.
Dye joins Earl Shilton from Coventry Building Society where he held a variety of roles over an eight-and-a-half-year period. Before that, he was Lloyds TSB for 14-and-a-half years.
He said: “Since Earl Shilton is able to consider modern methods of construction and is committed to first-time, professional and self-employed buyers, not forgetting those looking to borrow in later life, there is a huge amount I can help brokers with.”
Meanwhile, Cufflin, joins from the Hinckley and Rugby Building Society, where he was a mortgage underwriter. Before his time at the Hinckley he worked as a completions clerk for Cocks Lloyd Solicitors.
Cufflin added: “I really like the personal aspect of a building society. Being a smaller society, I feel we can really make a difference to our customers.”
