Tell us about your business?
Extend Finance was established in 2017 with one mortgage adviser – myself.
In 2020 became a ltd company with 3 advisers. We are continuously looking for new advisers to grow our business.
Mainly dealing with First Time Buyers but also with BTL applicants (in personal name or under SPV ltd company) providing mortgage advice and insurance services.
Where are you based and where do you operate geographically?
We are based in Coventry, predominantly providing services within West Midlands (Coventry, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Leicester etc.) however with the remote technology we can provide mortgage and insurance advice across the UK
What are the main issues impacting your local market?
House prices are still rising, lack of deposit and affordability issues. On the other side lack of decent homes, many customers are looking for their dream property for few months and still once found they are being overbid by someone else.
What challenges are you facing as a broker?
Increases in interest rates, lender’s turnaround time before issuing the offer. Variety of additional checks and paperwork which we have to go through. Additionally conveyancing process – this is very long with lots of room for all kinds of delays.
What are the main opportunities for brokers in your area and nationally?
West Midlands is growing. New estates are rising in every city across whole UK so there is plenty of mortgages to do not to mention about re-mortgages. Customers are looking for a friendly advice, for brokers who can explain the process and guide them through it.

Join criteria tools providers to allow us to search through their criteria’s quicker. Make their systems more user friendly, increase their staff in call centres.
