Mental health award for Sirius Property Finance

Sirius Property Finance has been presented with a prestigious award from mental health charity SANE in recognition of its outstanding mental health work.

The award follows a recent Charity Golf Day hosted by the London-based debt advisory service, which raised an incredible £10,500.

This is the second year that Sirius Property Finance has partnered with SANE and it has now raised just under £25,000 to support the life-changing work that this charity does in support of mental health.

Ongoing events, such as International Men’s Day and Mental Health Awareness Week, have strengthened the link between Sirius Property Finance and SANE, with guest speakers, fundraising events, workshops and talk groups all helping to build awareness around mental health and offer support and information to team members.

This award was presented to Sirius Property Finance at the conclusion of its Charity Golf Day in recognition of the fundraising efforts of the business as well as its commitment to a brilliant internal programme for mental health.

The award also recognised the outstanding contribution made by Group CEO, Rob Jupp and managing director of Sirius Property Finance, Nicholas Christofi, who have both become ambassadors for SANE, contributing blogs, personal reflections and leading workshops for the team.

This is the second award that the Brightstar Group has achieved in recent months for its work in the mental health arena.

At the inaugural Mortgage Marketing Awards, the Brightstar group was named winner of the ‘Best Social Responsibility Campaign’ for its outstanding work during Mental Health Awareness Week at both Brightstar and Sirius Property Finance.

Leoni Alexandrou (pictured), director of operations, said: “We are absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been awarded with this prestigious accolade from SANE.

“We are proud to support the brilliant work that they do with mental health and we are also delighted to have our ongoing efforts and commitment rewarded in this way.

“We will be building on what we have achieved in our forthcoming World Mental Health Day where we will continue to build awareness and de-stigmatise issues associated with mental health issues.”
