Clydesdale Bank increases residential and buy-to-let mortgage rates

Clydesdale Bank is increasing the rates on its residential and buy-to-let mortgage range.

From 8pm tonight (1st August) the bank will increase its core 65% – 95% loan-to-value (LTV) 2- and 5-year fixed rates by up to 0.15%.

Its £1m+ 65% – 85% LTV 2- and 5-year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.10% and its professional and newly qualified professional rates will go up by up to 0.15%.

On its core buy-to-let (BTL) product 2- and 5-year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.15%.

Finally, its £1m+ BTL 2 and 5 year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.12%.

Changes will show on sourcing systems as of tomorrow. Brokers are advised that if they are applying for one of these products on behalf of their customer, they should send Clydesdale the application as soon as possible.
