Iress has appointed Steve Green as head of engineering, mortgages.
Green will be responsible for leading the technical development of Iress’ mortgage sales and origination software, MSO.
Since 2013 Iress has transformed MSO into one of the leading mortgage origination software platforms in the UK, supporting seven lenders and processing approximately £30bn of mortgages every year.
Iress’ CEO, mortgages, Andrew Simon said, “I am really pleased that after a comprehensive search process over the last couple of months, Steve Green will move to the mortgages business as our head of engineering.
“Steve was heavily involved in creating MSO – which has become the UK’s leading mortgage origination software.
“Over the past few years, he has been lending his considerable knowledge and skills to the task of modernising Iress’ product architecture and readying teams to adopt cloud technology.
“I’m pleased he will be coming back to lead engineering within our mortgages business at a crucial time when we’re experiencing extraordinary demand for our software.”
