Shepherds Friendly has added non-executive directors Alison McKinna and Neil Tinegate to its board.
McKinna has experience across a variety of sectors, including financial services, healthcare and charities. She was a finalist for Board Director of the Year in the UK Women in IT Awards 2021.
While Tinegate has developed his professional experience across multiple sectors such as media, retail, and consumer goods.
He specialises in customer and technology-led change and has been instrumental in the digital transformation of several businesses.
Ann-Marie O’Dea, chief executive officer at Shepherds Friendly, said: “We are pleased to welcome Alison and Neil to our board.
“Any new non-executive directors we appoint to our board are selected carefully based on their values, experience and how they will fit into our culture here at Shepherds Friendly.

Tinegate concluded: “It’s an exciting time to be part of Shepherds Friendly; there is a real focus on constant enhancements to the member experience, and also a lot in the pipeline from a sustainability standpoint. In November, Shepherds Friendly announced their new Board Chair to be Nemone Wynn-Evans, succeeding Joanne Hindle.
