“Together, Alison and Neil bring with them a wealth of knowledge and clearly share our passion for putting members first. I’m certain they will be welcome additions to our team and we’re glad that they have chosen to be part of our Society.”

Speaking of her new appointment at Shepherds Friendly, McKinna added: “I’m delighted to join the board at Shepherds Friendly. The Society has such a strong mutual history and members really do come first. I’m glad that this opportunity will allow me to be part of the next chapter.

“Being on the board of a such a forward-thinking and aspirational organisation will be a pleasure. It would seem that my fellow members of the board share my interest in innovation and continual improvement, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”

I’m also really pleased to be joining an organisation with mutual values and where members come first.”
