Skipton signs up for LMS Panel Link

Skipton Building Society has become the 32nd lender to join LMS Panel Link.

As part of its Panel Link service, from 22nd August 2022 LMS will deliver a fully vetted, secure panel of conveyancing firms that meet Skipton’s exact requirements, as well as a suite of services to further secure the monetary chain and provide operational efficiencies in the mortgage process.

Skipton has been enabling people to buy their own home for nearly 170 years, and today has over one million customers.

The partnership follows its launch of two new Green Additional Borrowing products earlier this year, to help Britain’s homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes by making green improvements without incurring early repayment charges.

Nick Chadbourne, CEO of LMS, said:  “Skipton Building Society’s decision to partner with LMS attests to the success and value of our market leading Panel Link® services.

“The security, innovation and digitisation that LMS is providing its partners is especially important at a time when brokers and lenders are trying to help their clients find the best mortgages they can, amid a cost-of-living crisis, while trying to increase efficiency to help with capacity issues.

“We are delighted that Skipton has chosen LMS to further strengthen its already firm position in the housing market and are pleased to be partnering with a provider that has so much experience in helping people get the best mortgage for their individual needs. We look forward to a long-lasting, productive relationship with Skipton.”

Karen Appleton, head of mortgage lending at Skipton Building Society, added: “Skipton is proud to partner with LMS using the LMS Panel Link service to further strengthen our mortgage application journey. It means we can provide additional reassurance to our customers of the conveyancing process whilst working with carefully selected conveyancers.”

“We’re looking forward to developing our relationship with LMS into the future.”
