Vernon Building Society has appointed Jack Dougan (pictured) as national business development manager.
In his new role Dougan will oversee mortgage book growth and intermediary relations.
He joined the Vernon in 2021 as intermediary desk adviser after a six year stint as a mortgage broker.
Dougan said: “I’m thrilled to be taking up this role with the Vernon and continuing to work in the Society’s fantastic intermediary mortgage team.
“We’re committed to supporting brokers and put intermediaries at the centre of our strategy.
“Now I can’t wait to get started in my new role and get out and about meeting our broker partners.”
Brendan Crowshaw, head of mortgage & savings distribution at Vernon, added: “We’re delighted to promote Jack to business development manager and have been hugely impressed by his expertise in the intermediary mortgage market during his time on the broker desk.
