Land Registry launches Strategy 2022+

HM Land Registry has launched its Strategy 2022+ that aims to cut delays for homebuyers and influence the market to realise the potential of cutting-edge digital tools and solutions.

Propertymark, alongside other key industry stakeholders supported the development of the strategy which sets out a welcome vision of partnership across the property sector, and co-creating the innovation, research and development plan.

Plus, build on the success of Digital Street to explore and take advantage of emerging technologies.

Timothy Douglas, head of policy and campaigns at Propertymark, said: “Accurate information is vital to a functional and prosperous property market. Through the home buying and selling process, consumers need to know and understand what they are purchasing.

“With demand for homes recently reaching soaring levels and estate agents reporting record high completion times, the strategy will help improve the efficiency of the sales process and in turn the satisfaction of agent’s customers.”
