Lynnette Scott appointed head of people at Capricorn Financial Consultancy

Capricorn Financial Consultancy (CFC) has appointed Lynnette Scott as its head of people and as part of its strategic plan to maintain year-on-year growth at 30%.

Scott will partner with newly appointed chief commercial officer, Jeremy Law, and eight advisory team leaders to continue growing the advisory base from 65 advisers to 90+ within a year.

Scott’s new role will encompass recruitment, training and development, whilst providing support to the UK head office in London and international offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Conor Murphy, CEO and founder at CFC, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Lynnette to our growing team. Her experience developing and expanding teams will be a significant asset to the firm as it enters its next growth phase.

“Capricorn has always believed in promoting from within, with a huge emphasis on training and development. The appointment of Lynnette represents a further commitment to this philosophy.”

Scott’s wealth of experience (including her previous role as human resources partner at Tysers) will be invaluable as she works on expanding the Capricorn team by at least 25 advisers over the next 12 months, in what will be crucial to the achievement of Capricorn’s 30% year-on-year sustained growth target.

The appointment reflects Capricorn’s impressive expansion, having grown its turnover and profit by 30% in the past year – Scott will also be instrumental in delivering the firm’s ongoing 30% annual growth target.

Scott added: “I’m delighted to join Capricorn to bolster its training and recruitment efforts.

“The firm’s ambitious growth plans were a huge pull factor – I cannot wait to play a part in making them a reality.”
