Aldermore announces two key appointments in its property business

Aldermore has appointed Caroline Mirakian as head of key accounts and Andy Rowe as national sales manager for the South of England, adding significant senior expertise to its growing property division.

Both Mirakian and Rowe will commence their roles on the 7th of November.

This news follows the release of Aldermore’s full year results in September, where the bank revealed a strong pipeline in property lending for the rest of the year.

Jon Cooper, head of mortgages at Aldermore, said: “We are delighted to welcome Caroline and Andy to Aldermore.

“They both have vast experience within the mortgage market and will play a key role as we renew our focus on our property business for growth.”

Mirakian brings extensive knowledge of the specialist mortgage market having previously held roles within Metro Bank, Shawbrook and more recently at Pepper Money, where she was head of national accounts and later, sales director for second mortgages.

Rowe arrives with a wealth of mortgage insights having been a broker, business development manager and more recently a regional manager for Zephyr Homeloans.

Mirakian said: “It’s great to be given the opportunity to join Aldermore and work with a superb team.

“I’ve long admired its broker-focused proposition and I wanted to play my part at Aldermore as it aims to deepen its property expertise and support more customers.

“The chance to join a dynamic, forward-thinking lender, that wants to continually evolve and adapt to the changing needs of its brokers and customers, was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”

Rowe added: “I’m thrilled to be joining a team of highly experienced and talented individuals at a key moment in Aldermore’s growth strategy.

“Service and strong relationships are at the heart of everything that Aldermore does, and I look forward to helping them support more borrowers in the South of England.”
