Alison Pallett joins Nottingham Building Society as sales director

Nottingham Building Society has appointed Alison Pallett (pictured) as its new sales director.

Pallett will lead The Nottingham’s intermediary sales team from Monday 28th November as it pursues a new growth strategy focused on the needs of homeowners at a time of rapid change in the mortgage market.

She brings a wealth of experience, having held senior roles at LiveMore Capital and Bank of Ireland.

In addition to her extensive mortgage industry knowledge, Pallett has also previously represented the interests of the sector as a director of IMLA.

Pallett said: “I was struck by the commitment of The Nottingham to growing its mortgage business and the opportunity that exists in these turbulent times to make mutuality matter.

“The business is passionate about supporting homeowners, and I share that same passion. I am delighted to be joining the business and excited by the opportunity here.”

John Eastgate, chief lending officer at Nottingham Building Society, added: “Bringing Alison into the business is a huge coup for The Nottingham.

“Not only is she widely respected across industry, but as we pivot towards a strategy built on mortgage lending, she brings a level of capability that can deliver enormous value to the Society. I’m delighted to welcome her to the team.”
