Industry heavyweight Roger Morris (pictured) is set to join Tandem Bank as director of sales and distribution for the mortgage division on 1st December.
Morris will be tasked with building intermediary mortgage business and leading the team at Tandem. He will report directly to Steve Beard, MD mortgage division.
Morris, who is arguably one of the best-known faces in the industry, left One Savings Bank (OSB) in August.
He said: “Tandem Bank has serious plans to become a Premier Division player with multiple lending channels that cover every requirement that a broker might be asked for by his clients.
“The chance to plan and oversee the establishment of Tandem as a major force in the market was too good to pass up.
“I am excited about Tandem’s prospects and looking forward to building the mortgage division so it can take its place at the top table of specialist lenders.”
Beard added: “Roger’s wealth of industry experience across all sectors of the market and his proven ability to deliver at the highest level are apparent for all to see.
