Sienna Real Estate has appointed Henry Timmis and Chris Rees as co-managing directors for the UK.
Timmis recently joined following 11 years in the Savills Central London investment team and has advised on over 70 transactions totaling in excess of £2.5bn.
Rees recently joined from Praxis, having previously held investment and asset management roles at major UK REITS.
Samy Bchir, managing partner and group CIO of Sienna Real Estate, said, “We are delighted that Henry and Chris have accepted their roles as co-managing directors of the UK office, particularly at this opportunistic time in the market.
“Both bring a combined 35 years of cross-sector real estate experience and expertise.”
Both Timmis and Rees are taking over from Richard Linnell and Sarina Dwek who, following the successful set up of Sienna Real Estate’s UK office, will be departing to set up their own independent advisory business.

Timmis said: “With the pressure across the debt and real estate markets this is an exciting time for Sienna Real Estate.

The company is part of Sienna Investment Managers, a subsidiary of publicly listed Groupe Bruxelles Lambert.
