SimplyBiz appoints Cirencester Friendly to SimplyProtect specialist panel

SimplyBiz has added Cirencester Friendly to its SimplyProtect specialist panel.

The specialist panel launched in July with inaugural partners British Friendly, Holloway Friendly, and National Friendly as an extension of SimplyBiz’s existing SimplyProtect service.

Designed to help advisers strengthen their income protection propositions and broaden their support for clients, the SimplyProtect panel partners offer income protection for a range of customers but specialise in those with occupations or illnesses that may not get standard terms, increasing the likelihood of both finding a policy that fits a specific client situation, and getting acceptance.

Emma Vaughan, head of protection and health solutions at SimplyBiz, said: “Our specialist panel has received a fantastic response in the months following its launch, and I think it’s a really positive indicator of how many advisers are placing income protection at the centre of their planning, and helping to ensure positive outcomes for clients.

“The turbulence of the past few years, and the current cost-of-living crisis, means that adequate income protection cover has never been more important, and I’m pleased that we’re supporting advisers in their conversations with consumers in this vital area.

“Cirencester Friendly is a well-respected and rapidly developing provider in this market and providing the best income protection solution for clients is at the heart of everything it does, so it’s very much aligned with the values of SimplyBiz.

“I feel it will be a valuable addition to the panel, and one warmly welcomed by our member firms.”

Susie Beard-Moore, head of intermediary sales at Cirencester Friendly, added: “At time when so many people are facing uncertainty, we are delighted that the addition of our comprehensive income protection products to SimplyProtect’s Specialist Panel helps to broaden our reach.

“It is our goal to provide much needed protection and security to those that need it the most, and forging partnerships with respected organisations such as SimplyBiz helps to do exactly that.

“We look forward to building a strong and successful partnership with them.”
