Aldermore promotes Kelsey Edge to key account manager

Aldermore has promoted Kelsey Edge (pictured) from relationship manager to the role of key account manager.

Her promotion means she will now support Steve Hewitt and James Young in playing an integral role in the development and growth of Aldermore’s relationships with key distribution partners, whilst also further raising brand awareness regarding the bank’s specialist mortgage offering.

She first joined Aldermore in 2014 and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, previously working for organisations including GE Money, Halifax, Platform for Intermediaries and Nottingham Building Society.

Edge said: “With the UK facing a difficult economic outlook, people need a different type of bank, one that gets finance where it’s needed as efficiently as possible. We’ve long been committed to better understanding our customers, and I’m excited to continue working with our broker partners to help crack their customers’ complex challenges together.”

Caroline Mirakian, head of national accounts, Aldermore, added: “It’s an absolute pleasure to promote Kelsey.

“Brokers want to be reassured that lenders will retain key professionals they know they can trust, which is why we’re keen to grow talent from within our business.

“Her wealth of experience, along with our team’s deep expertise, enables us to make more nuanced decisions, while ensuring we don’t penalise people because they’ve had gaps in their employment history or a less than perfect credit history.”
