Connect for Intermediaries has made three new senior hires, adding to the existing leadership team and supporting its plans to drive the business forward in 2023.
Alan Baldwin, previously with Masthaven, has joined as director of compliance, Adrian Boxhall, previously with Shawbrook, is joining in mid-January as director of operations.
Jim Selley has also been promoted to director of training.
Selley said: “Having joined Connect just a year ago, we’ve done lots of work on updating and making the training program more comprehensive for our new Academy members.
“I’m now looking forward to continuing that work and building in more support for our experienced AR’s to help them grow their businesses.”
Baldwin will be responsible for the oversight of the compliance teams and delivering the implementation of the AR supervision and Consumer Duty papers across the network, while Boxhall’s role will be to help drive more efficiencies across the mortgage application process, particularly for the specialist lending and commercial markets.
Liz Syms (pictured), owner of Connect, added: “These great new appointments complete our plan for a really strong leadership team to kick off 2023.
“Despite the question about market conditions, we felt it was very important to provide greater strength to these areas of the business so we can deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”
