From today, Wednesday the 18th of January, NatWest is making a range of improvements to its remortgage proposition, as well as removing its procuration fee cap across all residential and buy-to-let products.
The bank is launching an additional range of remortgage products for its residential and green ranges which will provide £250 cashback.
Additionally, its ‘fees free’ legal products will still be available, and these two options will co-exist, giving customers the choice of which option is best for them
For customers who wish to choose their own solicitors, NatWest have also increased the maximum remortgage loan amount from £2m to £10m, which aligns with its purchase range of products.
The bank will also be removing all standard valuation fees on remortgage products up to a property value of £10m – its existing range of remortgage free legal products up to a value of £2m will still be available, providing customers with a greater choice at time of application.
NatWest is also removing the procuration fee cap across all its residential and buy-to-let products including product transfers.
These changes will apply for all applications submitted from today, the 18th of January.
