Mark Harrington (pictured) has been appointed as chief operating officer at L&C Mortgages.
Harrington assumes his new role, having been with the business since he joined L&C as an adviser in 2003, he has worked in a number of roles during his tenure, most recently as L&C’s advice director.
In his new role Harrington will oversee the advice and operations teams at L&C, as well as forming and implementing L&C’s strategy as part of the senior leadership team.

“I’m therefore pleased to announce Mark’s appointment as our chief operating officer.
“Mark knows L&C inside out and has proven over the last 20 years what an invaluable asset he is.
“I know he will play a key part in growing the L&C business and putting in place the exciting plans we have for the future.”
In addition to Harrington’s appointment, L&C has made two additional new senior appointments.
Nicola Wildman joins as chair of risk to work closely with the compliance and risk teams across the business and as a non-executive director on the board.
Wildman joins L&C having worked at a senior level for many years in financial services, including 19 years in various roles for the regulator.
Sue Brown joins the L&C board as a non-executive director.
She brings with her a wealth of experience with over 30 years in legal services, operating within the transactional and remortgage market.
