Penny House Financial Services has appointed Ian Dobrin as its business growth director.
With over 14 years’ experience, Dobrin has progressed from estate agent to area manager, responsible for 40 staff across seven East London offices.
Owner of his own high-street estate agency in the 1980s, Dobrin launched one of the first estate agency and financial services recruitment agencies in 1993, incorporating ‘Estate Agency Personnel’, ‘FS Personnel’ and ‘Overseas Property Jobs’ from its bases in Royal Docks, Docklands and High Barnet.
Dobrin was also pivotal in helping Sofia Jones, managing director of Penny House, to find her first mortgage consultant role some six years ago.
Dobrin said: “I have known Sofia for a few years now and now to be a part of her company is a real privilege.
“I hope I can bring my many years of business experience and contacts to the table.”
Jones added: “2022 saw Penny House grow from a team of two to a team of six.
“Working with a strong team is so important. I am delighted to welcome Ian; with his help I am excited to see Penny House go from strength to strength in 2023.”
