Loans Warehouse has announced that 12 of its employees and several participants from the mortgage industry will be taking on the “ultimate icy challenge” for Comic Relief and is inviting more to take part.
The #IceBathChallenge aims to raise a minimum of £10,000 for the charity and has already garnered £4,100 in pledges from lenders and partners of Loans Warehouse.
The challenge will take place on March 17th in front of Loans Warehouse offices, and the company has extended an invitation to anyone in the mortgage industry to get involved. Those who cannot attend in person can donate using the company’s donation link.
For businesses and organisations looking to support a good cause, official sponsorship opportunities are available. By becoming a sponsor, companies will appear on all social media marketing leading up to the event, gaining exposure to a wider audience.
There is even an option for the company’s branding to be worn during the challenge itself.
Comic Relief has been supporting various projects and organisations across the UK and around the world since its establishment in 1985.
The charity has raised over £1bn and has made a significant impact on various issues, including homelessness, mental health, and poverty.
“We are excited to take on the #IceBathChallenge for such a fantastic cause,” said Matt Tristram, co-founder, and director at Loans Warehouse. “We look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces in the mortgage industry and hopefully raise a significant amount of money for Comic Relief.”
