The session, titled ‘Buy-to-let affordability: navigating the challenges’, aims to guide intermediaries through the complexities of the current situation, including stress testing and affordability calculations, to ensure their clients can secure a mortgage.
The presentation will be led by Alex Witham (pictured), regional account manager at Landbay, who has devised a product comparison tool to help explain how to pass the stress tests using different mixes of fees and interest rates to suit clients’ individual needs.
