MorganAsh has unveiled a range of upgrades to its vulnerability tool, the MorganAsh Resilience System (MARS), to better support advisers ahead of the implementation of the Consumer Duty regulation in July.
MARS enables advisers to identify vulnerable customers and generate an objective “Resilience Rating”.
The latest upgrades include the ability to book an appointment in real-time for a nurse assessment, assign treatments between resilience ratings and age groups, and personalize the contents of vulnerability questionnaires, among other features.
According to Andrew Gething, managing director of MorganAsh, the upgrades aim to provide an objective and consistent approach to managing and monitoring vulnerability data, making the task much easier for all firms.
MorganAsh’s MARS tool supports everyone from single advisers to firms with thousands of users, and the company has added numerous configuration options to meet their specific requirements.
The new features come as firms prepare for the next Consumer Duty deadline, which requires providers to complete all necessary reviews and inform advisers by the end of April 2023, and ensure all products in open books comply by July 2023, and all those in closed books by July 2024.
