Leek Building Society taps Jade ThirdEye to combat financial crime

Leek Building Society has adopted Jade ThirdEye’s Customer Screening and Transaction Monitoring SaaS solution to strengthen its capacity to detect money laundering and financial crime.

Established 160 years ago in Staffordshire, Leek Building Society actively contributes to local community initiatives and supports numerous charities and causes, including the launch of the Leek Building Society Charitable Foundation in 2022.

Andrew Davies, MLRO at Leek Building Society, said: “We sought a solution to improve our AML and CTF controls. Jade ThirdEye streamlines our transaction and customer screening, freeing up time and resources for our financial crime team to focus on investigating suspicious activity and safeguarding our members against money laundering and financial crime.”

He added: “Jade ThirdEye provides us with the flexibility to create, manage and change Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime rules to react rapidly to changing risks.

“As a cloud-based managed service, the solution is particularly attractive as it is automatically and regularly updated.”

Claire Rees, client manager at Jade ThirdEye, added: “We are delighted that Leek chose Jade ThirdEye to bring efficiencies to their Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime compliance process and we look forward to continuing to work with them to enhance their fight against financial crime.”
