Commercial real estate finance broker Sanova Real Estate Finance has rebranded to Fortgate Partners, as it prepares to open a second office in Yorkshire.
Established in 2017, the London-based broker specialises in providing real estate funding solutions, including traditional, non-traditional, and Islamic real estate finance for property investors and developers.
Fortgate Partners’ expertise lies in sourcing and arranging debt and equity capital for national and international real estate investors and developers, handling transaction sizes ranging from £2m to £500m for single assets, portfolios, and ground-up developments.
Originally from Yorkshire, Matthew Van Lorson (pictured), co-founder and CEO, said: “After six years working out of London, we are delighted to be looking at opening our second office in the Yorkshire region that will serve both new and existing clients in the North, including the Midlands all the way up to Scotland.
“Despite the current economic and political turbulence we continue to see significant demand from national and international sponsors refocusing their real estate strategies from London towards regional assets.
“We are experiencing a strong pipeline in demand for acquisition and refinancing across the capital structure including senior debt, mezzanine finance, preferred and joint venture equity and of course short-term bridging finance.”
