Signature Property Finance posts record first quarter, following record March

Signature Property Finance has started 2023 on a high note, posting a record Q1 lending figure of £26.6m, following a record-breaking year in 2022.

The privately-owned principal lender completed loans totalling £12.4m in March, marking another record month for the company.

The rapid growth of the business in recent years has seen the Q1 figure nearly match the firm’s total for the entirety of 2019.

Success can be attributed to the decision to remain open during the pandemic and to honour offers without any unexpected surprises for borrowers.

Thomas Howells (pictured), Signature’s chief operating officer, said: “For our business to have already surpassed half of our lending total for 2022, a record year for Signature, after only three months says a lot about our offering, but perhaps more about the relationships we are building with our clients.”

He added that the hard work put in during the pandemic has laid the foundation for the company’s current success.

The focus has been on energising the team and providing them with the necessary tools and resources to meet expectations.

Signature plans to maintain its emphasis on strengthening personal relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and quality of service.

The company will also add new Relationship Managers to its team in growth areas of the UK, where it sees potential to support ambitious developers.

Additionally, the firm is tailoring its service to reflect the changing demands of its clients, aiming to reduce the time taken from indicative terms to drawdown.
