Leeds Building Society has partnered with leading insurance technology firm Uinsure in a strategic move that promises to offer one of the quickest home insurance quote journeys on the market to Society customers.
With Uinsure’s support, Leeds Building Society members can now obtain an online quote in as little as 20 seconds and in branches in a matter of minutes. This significantly reduces the time it takes compared to direct insurers and aggregators, requiring customers to provide only their name, date of birth, and postcode.
The partnership will grant Society’s customers access to seven top underwriters who will each vie to offer the lowest price on Uinsure’s 5-star Defaqto rated policy, with the cheapest option presented to members.
John Scally, head of commercial development at Leeds Building Society, said: “Our purpose is to put homeownership in reach of people, and this partnership with Uinsure means we can offer our members peace of mind that their property is protected should they suffer any unexpected loss or damage.”
Scally also emphasised the Society’s commitment to accessibility and convenience, pointing out that customers can apply online, in branches, over the telephone or alongside their mortgage application with Leeds Building Society.
