Black & White Bridging adds Jess Caton as lending manager amid expansion plans

Specialist lender Black & White Bridging, has announced the appointment of Jess Caton (pictured) as lending manager, bolstering its growth strategy.

Caton brings experience from her previous underwriter role at Aspen Bridging, and will contribute towards boosting Black & White’s capacity to complete more short-term loans to aid intermediaries and their clients.

Black & White Bridging, which is based between Bristol and Bath, has been steadily expanding its team in recent months as part of its larger ambition to spur growth and disruption in the specialist finance sector.

The company is marking its tenth year in operation and has welcomed Caton as its fifth new appointment since May, thereby augmenting its team capacity by one-third.

This comes at a time when Black & White has doubled its overall lending volume over the past two years and is keen on further expansion throughout 2023 and beyond.

Commenting on Caton’s appointment, Oliver Bland, director of lending at Black & White said: “We’re delighted to welcome Jess to Black & White, despite being in the early stages of her career, she will bring both energy and experience along with new ideas on how we can improve our lending capability.

“We’re growing with ever-accelerating velocity and as such, Jess’s appointment will only enhance our ability to execute a greater number of transactions for our valued brokers and borrowers alike.”
