Just Mortgages introduces tailored training program for large principal brokers

Just Mortgages has launched a bespoke training program designed specifically for its large principal brokers, aiming to address identified knowledge or training gaps.

The program targets principals with teams of four or more brokers. Unlike conventional one-size-fits-all solutions, Just Mortgages’ training team will provide a program tailored to the needs of each firm and its advisors.

This could range from sales training and techniques to further product knowledge, lead generation and social media training.

The program also includes additional leadership training, marketing, and compliance support for the principals themselves.

Rodney Sloan (pictured), head of learning and development at Just Mortgages, said: “As our principal brokers look to develop both their business and the team around them, we must continue to provide all the necessary training and support they need. This new programme is an important part of that ongoing commitment and will enable us to work with principals to accurately pinpoint any areas for improvement.

“We identified that a ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t work. After all, business principals have a really good feel for their own businesses. By sitting down with them, we can better understand their needs, where to improve and where the team can be developed. We can then draw up a bespoke training plan to meet these objectives and deliver this across their business.”

The newly introduced program augments the training package available to existing principals. Alongside the induction program for new business principals and the leadership program, this initiative aims to equip brokers with the necessary skills to optimise their teams’ potential.

Graduates from Just Mortgages’ self-employed academies are paired with suitable principal brokers to bolster their growth plans while receiving invaluable mentoring and development opportunities.

Just Mortgages, which is close to having 500 advisors in its self-employed division and over 650 across its nationwide network, provides brokers with access to a plethora of training sessions and hundreds of online modules crafted by its learning and development team.

The brokerage firm supports both business principals and self-employed mortgage and protection advisors in managing their businesses while benefiting from continuous training, mentoring, and compliance support.
