Matt McCullough promoted to head of sales and development at Aldermore

Aldermore has announced the promotion of Matt McCullough to the position of head of sales and development within its property leadership team.

This newly created role recognises McCullough’s decade-long tenure at Aldermore, making him one of the company’s longest-serving employees.

In his new capacity, McCullough will provide overall leadership to the field-based sales team across the country. Additionally, he will oversee important broker-facing propositions such as Aldermore’s Platinum Broker experience, aiming to enhance the broker experience throughout the origination journey.

McCullough will also play a crucial role in Aldermore’s development program, focusing on improving broker experience and understanding their needs through field-based engagement. This initiative will help Aldermore better support brokers in the future.

Aldermore has recently made several changes to its senior leadership team in the property division, with a specific focus on enhancing the experience for its intermediary partners. These efforts reflect Aldermore’s commitment to expanding its property business, catering to both homeowners and landlords and empowering individuals to pursue their aspirations in life and business.

As part of these changes, Nicola Goldie has been appointed as head of strategic partnerships and growth, while Craig Beattie and James Young have been promoted to national sales managers.

Both Beattie and Young will report to McCullough in his expanded role. Clare Thomas, head of telephony new business, and Jon Cooper, head of property, complete the restructured team.

Cooper said: “At Aldermore, we believe in nurturing talent from within our organization while also bringing in top-notch individuals who align with our culture and goals. With our exceptional senior team in place, I am confident that our brokers and their clients will benefit greatly.”

McCullough added: “Having been part of Aldermore’s growth journey for the past 10 years, I am thrilled to lead an exceptional team as we embark on major changes and drive innovation in the years ahead.”
