Specialist lender Mint Property Finance has added Simon Micklethwaite (pictured) as senior business development manager (BDM), as part of a wider expansion of its sales department.
Micklethwaite has 25 years of experience, beginning at HSBC, and including roles at Roma Finance, Revverbank, and Reward Finance Group, where he was BDM for Yorkshire.
At Mint, he will be responsible for supporting the firm’s growth and growing its relationships with brokers and introducers.
Previous hires in the expansion included adding Steve Smith as head of sales two months ago.
Commenting on Micklethwaite’s appointment, Smith said: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to the team.
“I have known Simon for many years, and he brings with him a wealth of relevant industry experience and knowledge.
