Nottingham Building Society expands team with two new business development managers

The Nottingham Building Society has announced the appointment of two new business development managers (BDMs), in a move that will bolster its rapidly expanding sales team.

Avril Dugdale (pictured left) will be responsible for the North-East region, while Rachel Bridle (pictured right) will concentrate her efforts on the South of England.

Dugdale, with an extensive background in the mortgage sector, is joining The Nottingham after a stint at Pepper Money UK.

Earlier, she held similar positions at Zephyr Homeloans and Virgin Money, following a career as a mortgage and protection adviser at Halifax and Reeds Rains.

Her new role at The Nottingham will see her assisting brokers in sourcing the right mortgage offerings for clients within the North-East region.

Bridle, on the other hand, is transitioning from her role as a mortgage advisor at MORTGAGE 4 YOU Ltd, where she worked for the past six years. She also has past experience at Nationwide Building Society and TSB Bank. As a BDM at Nottingham Building Society, she will support brokers across the South of England.

“I understand the importance of having someone to discuss a case with, having been a mortgage broker for the past six years,” Bridle stated, expressing her excitement about her new role.

Dugdale echoed Bridle’s sentiments, saying she is excited to join the team during this period of growth and looks forward to establishing strong relationships with brokers.

Both BDMs will report directly to Matt Kingston, national sales manager at The Nottingham. Welcoming the new team members, Kingston remarked: “Both join with a wealth of experience within the mortgage sector and I look forward to working with them as we continue to provide brilliant support to our intermediaries.”

These new appointments come on the heels of Jennifer Curry and Rebecca Haith joining as BDM for the North-West and telephone BDM respectively.
