Hampshire Trust Bank names Andrea Glasgow as sales director for specialist mortgages

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Andrea Glasgow (pictured) as its new sales director for specialist mortgages.

In her new role, Glasgow will oversee all aspects of the sales process, which encompasses broker relationships, origination of new business, and managing pipeline cases. The appointment will establish a consistent point of contact for all broker partners across sales and origination.

The role expansion integrates Glasgow’s current responsibilities as head of new business with the duties of the sales director, inclusive of managing the existing team of business development managers.

Glasgow boasts a 16-year career in financial services and has held senior specialist sales and origination roles at HTB, Castle Trust, and Glenhawk.

HTB provides professional investors with specialist residential and semi-commercial loans up to £25m for limited companies, offshore entities, expats, and foreign nationals.

Chris Daly, managing director, specialist mortgages at HTB, said: “Andrea continues to support new business enquiries, pipeline progression, and originations, providing consistency in leadership and decision-making, cementing our broker-led model.

“She has an excellent track record, and I am confident she will use her considerable skills to shape her team to meet the needs of our specialist lending brokers and their customers.”

Glasgow said: “Managing all aspects of the sales team to deliver consistent leadership and decision-making for our broker partners is something I am looking forward to.

“HTB is fortunate to have an array of talented individuals who put the introducer and their customer first. My new role will seek to harness those talents to ensure HTB is at the forefront of the professional property investor lending landscape.”
