Hampshire Trust Bank to hold development finance masterclass

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) is to host a special development finance event for brokers on 27th September in Central London.

The masterclass was designed to provide an introduction to development finance for brokers who have had some level of experience and exposure to enquiries and would like to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the sector.

Brokers can join key members of the HTB development finance team as well as guest speakers for a day of networking, learning and practical advice.

Topics include top underwriting secrets, development finance enquiries, construction training, and legal due diligence.

Confirmed speakers include Alex Upton (pictured), managing director, development finance, Uliana Kuzmis, deputy managing director, development finance, Maxwell Vernon-Jones, development monitoring surveyor, development finance, and Helen Johnston, head of real estate finance (London) at JMW Solicitors.

Upton said: “It has never been a more important time for brokers to fine-tune their development finance knowledge in the pursuit of supporting housebuilders and the supply of new homes in general.

“That’s why we’re holding this special event in September. HTB is providing first-class products and service to the developer community up and down the country and we want to help brokers deepen their knowledge of the development finance market so that they can successfully place more enquiries.”

She added: “My message to brokers is simple: join us in our secret and sophisticated London venue for a day packed with ways to sharpen your development finance skills.

“You bring the questions; lunch, presentations and notepads are on us.”
