Just Wealth to host financial advice clinics for Just Mortgages staff

Just Mortgages, has announced that its financial advisory arm, Just Wealth, will be hosting a full-day financial advice clinic for its staff at the head office in Colchester on Tuesday, July 18th.

These sessions aim to provide an opportunity for staff to discuss their personal financial objectives and concerns privately with a Just Wealth adviser.

The consultations will encompass various aspects of financial advice, including pensions, investments, savings, ISAs, and wills. The event also plans to feature a presentation by Just Wealth, offering an exploration of the nature of financial advice.

Dave Magee, head of wealth at Just Wealth, said: “Advice is open to all, with our team of 30 advisers supporting clients of all backgrounds. Just as important as our mortgages brokers making all clients aware of this is enabling those within our own group to take advantage of the same financial advice.”

He further highlighted the firm’s successful relationship with Just Mortgages, noting that their advisers received over a thousand leads and qualified introductions from the brokers in the previous year. Magee said he looks forward to extending this partnership by providing personalised sessions to the broader team.

John Phillips (pictured), national operations director at Just Mortgages, echoed these sentiments, adding that the initiative is an excellent exemplification of their ambition to equip all employees with the necessary tools to succeed both personally and professionally.

Phillips added, “Our hope is that this will be the first of many sessions with the Just Wealth team, available for all staff to take advantage of across all our offices.”

These advisory sessions are aimed at creating a seamless customer experience by allowing brokers within Just Mortgages to respond to wider needs identified during the mortgage advice process, such as a pension review.

Despite the anticipated surge in referral numbers, which is set to exceed last year’s total, Just Wealth continues its recruitment drive for new advisers. These self-employed advisers have the freedom to provide advice on a range of financial matters, including pensions, inheritance tax, life assurance, and other protection products, with the added benefit of ongoing training, compliance, mentoring, and marketing support.
