Just Wealth, the financial services arm of Just Mortgages, has rolled out a new portal designed to streamline the wealth referral process for mortgage advisers.
Named Just Refer, the portal replaces the firm’s existing manual email tracking system, ensuring that brokers are kept in the loop at all stages of the referral and advice process, in real time.
“In addition to building stronger relationships between brokers and financial advisers, the portal will help deliver greater intelligence for all parties, improve the quality of leads and provide a much slicker journey for the customer,” said Dave Magee (pictured), head of wealth at Just Wealth.
Magee also emphasised the advantages of internal referrals, adding: “Rather than client referrals disappearing into a ‘black hole’ or referring externally, brokers can refer to a colleague within the group and keep track of the progress. This strengthens the bridge between our two firms, helping mortgage advisers to increase their value to their clients and their bottom line.”
The new in-house developed technology comes as Just Wealth continues to receive hundreds of leads, referrals, and qualified introductions from Just Mortgages’ nationwide network of advisers. In 2022 alone, 1,200 cases were referred to Just Wealth across various financial services, including pensions, investment advice, life assurance, and other protective offerings.
As part of its growth strategy, Just Wealth has also been recruiting financial advisers to meet the high demand, with 30 currently on its roster and plans to hire more. Advisers at the firm benefit from ongoing training, compliance support, and marketing resources.
Looking ahead, Just Refer is set to expand its offerings to include additional services such as equity release, business protection, and commercial mortgage cases.
