HM Land Registry completed more than 1.7 million applications to change or query the Land Register in September, data has revealed.
This figure is compared with 1,795,490 recorded a month prior in August and 1,858,990 recorded in September 2022.
On a regional level, the South East topped the table of regional applications, recording more than 389,691.
304,718 of the completed applications were for register updates, 944,174 were applications for an official copy of a register and 191,632 were search and hold queries.
In addition, 70,505 were recorded as transactions for value, while 18,469 were postal applications from non-account holders.
