Paradigm Protect, part of Paradigm Mortgage Services, has revealed a new technology partnership with UnderwriteMe. This alliance aims to simplify the application process for protection products, making it easier for advisers to serve their clients.
Advisers with Paradigm Protect can now access UnderwriteMe’s Protection Platform for free. The platform consolidates offerings from eight different insurance providers into one application. This enables advisers to compare fully-underwritten premiums from multiple providers, simplifying the choice for clients, regardless of their medical history.
The Protection Platform integrates with Defaqto and most major UK insurers, covering a variety of products like life insurance, critical illness, family income benefit, and income protection.
Mike Allison, director of protection at Paradigm, said: “We are very pleased to be announcing this new partnership with UnderwriteMe’s Protection Platform which now provides access to a ground-breaking protection proposition for our member firms through Paradigm Protect.”
Allison emphasised the importance of easing the adviser and client journey, stating: “In these days of Consumer Duty, ensuring firms cover off the protection conversation and go through the client needs in detail, is vital. However, we also want to ensure we use the technology available to make that process easier, to cut down on the administration burden and the need for rekeying.”
