United Trust Bank (UTB) has appointed Gary Lomax (pictured) as its newest business development manager (BDM) in its bridging finance division.
Lomax has a near 20-year track record in specialist finance, working with lenders including Shawbrook Bank, Selina and, most recently, Together Money where he was regional account manager for the North.
He will report to bridging head of sales Paula Purdy.
Purdy said: “Gary is a highly respected figure in the specialist property finance market, and I am delighted to have him on the team.
“His knowledge of a wide range of property finance options will be a great asset as we continue to develop our unregulated bridging business and strengthen relationships with brokers in the North of England.”
Lomax added: “UTB bridging has an excellent reputation and I am delighted to have joined the team.
“The Bank has exciting plans for 2024 and I am looking forward to working with Paula Purdy, Sundeep Patel and all the UTB bridging team as we continue developing great relationships with our valued broker partners and delivering growth across regulated and unregulated lending.”
This is the latest of several senior appointments in UTB’s bridging division which has recently restructured its underwriting operations into separate teams for regulated and unregulated applications and appointed Adetayo Odukoya to the newly created role of head of servicing.
