The Nottingham Building Society has appointed Robin Ashton (pictured) to its board of directors as a non-executive director with effect from 1st December 2023.
Ashton was previously chair of the Leeds Building Society for over seven years, with executive and non-executive experience.
He served as non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee at Domestic & General Group from 2019.
He was also a senior independent director and chair of the remuneration committee at Shawbrook Group between 2011 and 2020, during which he oversaw a period of sustained growth.
