Marsden Building Society adopts Jade ThirdEye for enhanced AML and financial crime detection

Marsden Building Society has become the fourth UK building society this year to implement Jade ThirdEye’s Transaction Monitoring and Customer Screening solution.

This move aligns Marsden with over a third of UK building societies now using Jade ThirdEye’s Software as a Service (SaaS) to bolster their defenses against money laundering and financial crime.

Tracy Ashworth, secretary and general manager at Marsden Building Society, said: “Jade ThirdEye is going to make a real difference to our Financial Crime Team.

“Automating transaction monitoring and customer screening will free up more time for the team to focus on the investigation of suspicious activity and protect our members from financial crime.

“Jade ThirdEye also provides us with the flexibility to create, manage and change Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime rules so we can respond rapidly to changing risks.

“As a cloud-based managed service, the solution is particularly attractive as it is automatically and regularly updated.”

Claire Rees, client manager at Jade ThirdEye, added: “We are delighted that the Marsden chose Jade ThirdEye to bring efficiencies to their Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime compliance process and we look forward to working with them to enhance their fight against financial crime.”
